It all started out as a dream of owning and operating my own
business.
When I found myself unemployed, my husband came to me a
said, "Just do what you love to do.", at first I wasn't really sure
what that meant. He said "just take a look around and see what
you love and enjoy everyday". Which I did, and I love candles.
Although there was something that always bothered me about
buying candles retail, I could "Kind of" find the scent I like, but
never the scent with the color I like.
Born was the idea of "Scents-A-Glow"

You may love the smell of strawberry, but for some reason it's always red, and doesn't match the decor. Or
rose that's always pink, but your favorite color is blue.
Scents-A-Glow comes to the rescue. You pick you color, and your scent and we make the candle for you. Right
on the spot.
But we wanted to be more than just another candle shop, we also wanted to create and sell hand made items
like Jewelry and Cedar Chest. So we went about filling the store and our shelves with.
All with a personal touch.
We are also now offering Laser Engraving, along with wood carving so you can have that personalized gift or
keepsake. In many cases we can take a photograph and permanently engrave it on glass, acrylic, leather or
wood with a personal message.
We will keep expanding our retail and online offerings such as trophies and awards, and balloons for our local
customers.
We are also looking for that artisan or craftsman that has that unique product he or she wants to bring to
market.
We will always serve you with a friendly Texas smile, and hopefully fulfill all of your needs.
